The new song “Lovin’ Song,” which I wrote after receiving an offer from Ossan’s Love, was created with the theme of a 90’s sound with a bit of nostalgia.
Actually, this new song was rewritten over and over again until it came together in its current form.
This is the second time that I have been in charge of the theme song for Ossan's Love, and because I know that the drama Ossan's Love is loved by many people, I decided to create the theme song that goes beyond the previous image. Because there was pressure to do without it.
After thinking about it and thinking about it, I came up with a sound that somehow had a 90's feel to it.
Just like the trendy dramas we were obsessed with when we were students, I think the worldview of Osan's Love has a very nice 90's feel to it.
So we thought that if we used that as a hint to create a song, it would go well with the drama.
And I tried to spell out love as straightforwardly as possible in the lyrics.
I would be happy if our songs were loved by as many people as the drama, and if they became songs that everyone could hum along to. (Takuya Ohashi)

When we first debuted, the theme of Sukima Switch's activities was "Let's do activities that will attract repeat customers!"
It's not just a one-time relationship, it's an activity that makes you want to ask Sukima Switch again, but when you actually receive a second offer, you'll be extremely happy, but at the same time, you'll be wondering how you can surpass or betray the first one. This pressure also arises.
And the greater the first experience, the greater the pressure.
The theme song ``Revival'' for the first ``Ossan's Love'' was selected as the theme song because the album song attracted attention, and due to the drama being a big hit, I was also featured on music programs.
And this time, I was conscious of the eyes for the first time, and I felt a lot of pressure, but this time I was able to decide the theme from the beginning because I was writing a new story, which worked very well. .
The theme we came up with was ``90's,'' which was derived from the worldview of the drama.
Of course, it doesn't just end up as a parody, and there are parts that have to be brought into the modern 2020s, but I personally feel that the process of rewriting the melody and lyrics over and over again is like an RPG where you have to defeat a big boss. As I worked on it, I felt excited that I was going to be able to create something completely different from anything I've done before.
I don't know how far this "Lovin' Song" will reach, but I'm hoping that it will be a good match with the main drama, and from there I hope it will reach more people.
