Regal Lily Ba. Sea Room

"Smooth"

We're almost halfway through October. I just realized that the chocolate that flew away one night has still not been found. It's scary.

In September, I found four pairs of glasses lying on the side of the road.
I've never dropped my glasses on the street, so I don't know, but what kind of situations would cause that?
One of them was a pair of glasses with strings attached to the temples to prevent them from falling, but at this point it feels like I've been forcefully transported to another world. Next time I drop a pair, I might try wearing them just once.
(It's a shame that reincarnation stories in other worlds have become so popular that the word "other world" has become a cliché.)

No matter how much civilization advances, I hope glasses will survive. I like people who wear glasses because it gives me a double treat.

Recently, the change in seasons has settled in and the air has become lighter, so I've started walking one station further than usual, or maybe three stations if I'm feeling good.
I wanted to talk about this, so I asked someone I hadn't seen in a while, "How are you doing lately?" and they responded with something like, "How are you? Hmm, yeah...", so I guess they weren't feeling too well.

So I boasted to her, "As soon as autumn arrived, I felt amazing and could easily walk for about an hour." She laughed and said, "Oh, you mean the kind of person. That's too good to be true."
I was thinking, or maybe I just hope that people realize that there are people out there who feel good about things like that.
At the same time, I was thinking that the moment the range of a person's voice expands, I feel a little happy, and the moment the range of a person's voice narrows, I feel a little lonely.

I've also been getting quite active, contacting and meeting up with friends from university for the first time in a long time and participating in activities with the Self-Care Club.
As your activity level increases, the total amount of smells you sense in a day inevitably increases dramatically.

The smells I recently encountered were the smell of the oil lamp on the table when I went to a jazz club with friends for the first time, and the smell of the flowers I used for a photo shoot blooming at home.
I also used up the ESOP hand soap that had been sitting uncomfortably in my bathroom, which was full of everyday life, so I discovered a new hand soap scent that someone gave me. It reminds me of a Taiwanese hotel and I really like it.

We can pin our favorite shops on a map, capture our favorite moments in photos, and record our favorite sounds in voice memos, but when will we be able to record our favorite smells (rather than recreating them)?

I hope Apple puts in some effort to improve this, so we can move on from the iPhone 11.
Anyway, I want to get outside as much as possible before it gets too cold.

Recently, I read Ryo Asai's "In the Megachurch." It's been a while since I've read something contemporary, and it was so easy to read, like browsing social media, that it made me realize I'm still living in the modern age. I'd like to recommend this book to my grandchildren, who would say, "I really don't understand this era."

see you.

Update: I bought a new hairdryer.
