"Hazy April"

Good luck to everyone this week. It's May now.
The temperature has been difficult lately and I end up dressing wrong every day.
I change my clothes, open the window, and even put half my body outside to check, but for some reason the moment I step out the front door I realize, "I made a mistake."
Maybe the window and the entrance are connected to different worlds? At the very least, they need to keep the temperatures consistent.

As a result, in April I often walked around with my head down, thinking, "It's chilly. Oh, the wind is so cold."
I feel like the wind is better warded off by blowing it through the crown of my head rather than on my face.
As I walk every day like this, pushing my feet through the wind, I end up passing many other people's shoes.
I guess a lot of people are getting new shoes in April, so everyone's shoes are shiny and bright (white, pink, etc., so cute).
I'm glad I was walking with my head down!! I'm now walking a little more carefully than usual, paying more attention to where I step.

Come to think of it, the man sitting in front of me on the train today was wearing sandals and had one foot bare.
I wonder what that was...

Lately, I've been encountering a lot of interesting people and moments, and I feel like I'm lost in a dream.
I saw a couple where only the boyfriend got off the train and made cute (big) gestures through the door to meet up, I met an old man who was taking notes of his actions every five minutes, and while I was choosing chocolate at a convenience store, a child I didn't know approached me and asked, "Doesn't eating sweets raise your blood sugar level?"
They all feel like the entrance to a movie, so I feel a bit auspicious.

So, let's do our best in May as well.
For now, I'll be busy using up the keema curry for six people that I made too much of because I had so much fun chopping it up.

Various reports
・It's finally been five months since I started waking up early.

・I've been reading "Code Buddha" recently, but it's difficult and I'm not making much progress.

I guess this is where sticky notes come in handy.
When you're reading a difficult book, don't you find yourself thinking, "I want to remember this word, this history seems important," and feel as if previous pages are constantly haunting you in addition to the page you're currently reading?
It feels like turning the pages while carrying a heavy load.
In those situations, sticking a sticky note on the page gives you the peace of mind that you can return to even if you clear your mind, and helps you continue reading with the feeling that the past is the past and the present is the present.

In the past, when I read old books with lines drawn on them, I used to think, "That's not cool! I need to remember that!" But now I think that making efforts to make something easier to read is different from superficial coolness, and that there is something good about trying to understand it. (Now I think)

Lately, I feel like there are more and more people thinking, "Actually, isn't this cooler?", so I'm watching the changes in my values as if they were someone else's problem.

This report was a bit long, but I'll continue next time.
