"Valentine and Spoilers"

Thank you everyone for your hard work this week.
It's Valentine's Day.
Just because we're adults, we shouldn't criticize every event and instead have fun.
I want this to be the theme of this year.

That being said, I don't have any particularly fond memories of Valentine's Day. Not that I'm concerned about appearances, really.

The only thing I remember is when I was in elementary school, I got some homemade cookies from a girl I liked, but I treasured them so much that I left them in a drawer and let them go to waste.
Oh, this is a memory from White Day, not Valentine's Day.

I was a very pure-hearted person who thought, "How dare you talk about your crush in front of other people!", but on the day that I was allowed to be "one" among the crowd, I secretly put it away in a drawer.
Then, I started eating a little bit at a time whenever something good happened.
One day, when I remembered the existence of expiration dates, I imagined pieces of rotten cookies piling up inside my body and I was horrified. I was trembling so much that I can't even describe it with the idiom "horrified."
It was a sesame cookie, so it was camouflaged in so many ways that I couldn't tell.
In fact, after that bite I threw it in the trash without a second thought, so maybe I didn't really like it that much.

If you have children, please do not go looking in the drawers without permission.
Just whisper to them like a gentle breeze, "Homemade food spoils quickly, so eat it while it's still delicious."

There aren't that many stories about old seasons, so I'm sure the longer I continue this blog, the more I'll run out of things to talk about. I want to make new seasonal memories every year.

That's right, let's talk about this year's New Year.
I started watching the Hunter x Hunter anime this New Year.
But it turned out to be a rather unusual journey.

That's because when I tried it before, I couldn't get into it at all from the beginning, so people around me asked me what I liked about it, and they recommended the Chimera Ant arc.
I decided to take the bold step of seeing it from there.

It starts with Gon and Killua, who I vaguely know, and a thin, unknown man (Kite) appearing.
By the time the Chimera Ant arc ended, I was completely hooked and my feelings for all the characters were a big LOVE (Mincho font).
Also, I definitely like Killua. (?)
Well, after that I knitted Arka and now I'm finally watching the anime from the beginning again.

It's amazing, the Hunter Exam is a bit long in the anime, but it never got boring.
There was a little voice in my heart saying, "Isn't this an insult to the story?"
Well, it's good to have lots of ways to keep yourself occupied, so I guess this is good too.

In particular, I'm the type of person who reads the same book over and over again or watches the same movie over and over again, so to be honest, I think I'm the type of person who can enjoy hearing spoilers.
So I wouldn't say this Star Wars style is for everyone.

Oh, and a spoiler alert:
When I talk about Professor Snape from Harry Potter, some people say, "That's a spoiler!"
I think it's cute and I like it. That's enough.

See you next time.
