We received a warm offer from the Latvian band Auli to release a collaborative Shimauta album!
Auli is a band from Latvia, one of the three Baltic states, formed in 2003. Currently, the band consists of six bagpipers, three drummers, and a bassist. Their style, known as "etnotranss" (ethnic trance), blends traditional Latvian music with a modern musical sensibility, making them a popular group active in a variety of venues, from summer festivals to performances in elegant halls.
They are working on a project entitled "Voice of the Ancestors" that fuses their own music with traditional voices from around the world, and have previously collaborated with singers such as Mongolian khoomei and Austrian yodelers. This time, they chose Amami Shimauta, a unique folk song from around the world, and its singer, Moto Chitose, to highlight the female singing voice, the feelings and strength that can be found in traditional singing, and the inheritance of historical culture.
Enjoy the new and unprecedented style of Shimauta that has been created by combining Moto Chitose's singing and shamisen - the traditional style of Shimauta - with the ethnic sounds that Auli creates - the heavy swell of bagpipes, the beating of drums, and powerful voice - and the overlapping of digital dance music beats!

■"Imjin River," a message of peace in the summer marking 80 years since the end of the war, will be released on Friday, August 8th!NEW


This summer marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, and Moto Chitose has decided to release "Imjin River" digitally on August 8th (Friday), with the hope that "now we can all think again about peace."

In 60, 2005 years after the end of the war, Moto Chitose sang and released the song "Dead Girl" (produced by Ryuichi Sakamoto), which sings of the feelings of a girl who died in the atomic bombing in front of the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima, and in 70, 2015 years after the end of the war, she released the peace-themed cover album "Heiwa Gannen." For the past 20 years, Moto Chitose has entrusted her thoughts about peace to her songs.
This time, we present the classic song "Imjin River," known for its cover by The Folk Crusaders, with the message "We will never forget - we will never repeat it." The Imjin River (also known as the Imjin River) is a river that flows near the border between South and North Korea, and the lyrics express the sadness of the division of North and South Korea. However, the Imjin River, which separates people for various reasons such as borders, race, religion, and ideology, flows not only on the Korean Peninsula but all over the world, giving rise to countless conflicts, from small squabbles to war. However, we all share the same feelings for our hometowns and the desire to protect the people and things we hold dear.
There is still conflict in the world, and many people are exposed to danger and threats at this very moment. ■Fukumimi's "Let's Go Search for Star Fragments Again" will be released on vinyl on November 11rd (Record Day)!


Includes the famous song "Let's go find some stars again" by the special unit "Fukumimi".
Their signature song is now available on 45-inch analog for the first time in the world, at 180 rpm and 12g!
The limited edition will be released on November 11rd (Record Day)!

On side A are the classic "Let's Look for Star Fragments Again," released in 1999 and still sung at Augusta Camp, and "Planet Timer," produced by Sukima Switch. On side B are two songs written and composed by COIL's Okamoto Sadayoshi, the rock number "DANCE BABY DANCE," which is sure to get the crowd pumping and is an indispensable song at live performances, and "Summer is just beginning!", with vocals by Takuya Ohashi (Sukima Switch), Chitose Moto, and Motohiro Hata.

This song is written and composed by Tomoyuki Nagasawa, a singer-songwriter who belongs to the same Office Augusta.Produced with powerful members such as Yuzuru Kashiwabara (Fishmans, Polaris) on bass, Yuko Araki on drums, Kenta Yamamoto on piano, and Genichi Tamura (Lonesome Strings, Little Tempo) on steelpan.It is a message song with a colorful sound based on the rhythm of reggae and a song with a prayer for peace.
The jacket is designed by Mitsuo Shindo, who has worked on numerous original Chitose works since his debut, following the first pre-delivery "Waiting for the Ship".Please pay attention to the scenery that changes with the music.

The theme of this year's Augusta Camp is "30th Anniversary of Masayoshi Yamazaki's Debut."
Artists from Office Augusta came together to celebrate Masayoshi Yamazaki's 9th debut anniversary on September 25th.
In addition to live performances by artists including Sukima Switch, Hata Motohiro, and Takehara Pistol, the event will also feature covers of Yamazaki's songs and plenty of collaborations unique to Augusta Camp.

The venue will be indoors at Pia Arena MM, a first for Augusta Camp history.
In addition to the arena reserved seats and 2nd floor stand reserved seats, 3rd floor stand seats and 4th floor stand seats will be sold as "seated reserved seats."

"U-NEXT MUSIC FES" is a music festival that U-NEXT will hold for six days from Tuesday, August 2025th at the "EXPO 8 Osaka-Kansai Expo" venue.
On the final day, Sunday, August 8th, DAY17, "Augusta Camp" will take over the stage!!

The live concert, titled "Augusta Camp Extra in EXPO 2025 ~YAMAZAKI MASAYOSHI 30th Anniversary~," will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Masayoshi Yamazaki's debut and will bring together Masayoshi Yamazaki and other artists from Office Augusta.

■"Moto Chitose Live at Noh Theater" to be held

It has been decided that they will appear in the acoustic live series "Midorihikari Ikuon."
This much talked about event takes place on the main stage of a Noh theater in the middle of the city, and offers a superb musical experience in a relaxing sukima of tatami mats and cushions. Moto Chitose will be performing two shows per day, "Hajime Uta Yugen - Banquet - Vol.2" on the Shimauta Stage, and "Kisaragi no Hainumikaze" on the Pops Stage.

The Shimauta Stage is the second installment of the live series of ALL Shimauta, which was held in May and was very well received. You can enjoy the Amami folk song "Shimauta", which is the origin of Moto Chitose, from traditional forms to new interpretations, with commentary. In the Pops Stage, we plan to select songs that evoke the "Japanese" atmosphere of the Noh theater.
Please look forward to the two completely different stages that will unfold in this quaint venue!

Noto Peninsula Earthquake Reconstruction Support Live held at Ishikawa Prefectural Industrial Exhibition Hall on July 7th (Sat) and 6th (Sun)
The live footage of "PEACEFUL PARK 2024 for Noto -supported by NTT docomo-" (Moto Chitose will perform on July 7th) will be streamed for a limited time of one month from Sunday, September 7st, which marks the eighth month since the earthquake.
This concert was held to cheer up those affected by the earthquake and contribute to the recovery of the affected areas. We will be delivering special performances by artists who share this goal!
In accordance with the purpose of the event, profits from the live stream made by the PEACEFUL PARK Executive Committee will be donated to the "Ishikawa Prefecture 6 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund." A special performance has been decided ahead of "Augusta Camp 9 ~YAMAZAKI MASAYOSHI 2025th Anniversary~" to be held in September!!

"U-NEXT MUSIC FES" is a music festival that U-NEXT will hold for six days from Tuesday, August 2025th at the "EXPO 8 Osaka-Kansai Expo" venue.
On the final day, Sunday, August 8th, DAY17, "Augusta Camp" will take over the stage!!

The live concert, titled "Augusta Camp Extra in EXPO 2025 ~YAMAZAKI MASAYOSHI 30th Anniversary~," will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Masayoshi Yamazaki's debut and will bring together Masayoshi Yamazaki and other artists from Office Augusta.

In addition to each artist's performance, the gathered artists will perform a session of Masayoshi Yamazaki songs, further building anticipation for the main festival to be held in Yokohama in September.

"Augusta Camp" will be held in Osaka, the place where Yamazaki Masayoshi first became known to the world, for the first time in 2008 years since 17.
The venue is the EXPO Arena "Matsuri" at the Osaka Kansai Expo, which is attracting attention from around the world.
