Under the concept of "Compo-Okamoto + engineer Sato's unit", which is the starting point of COIL, we moved from conventional analog home recording to hard disk recording using Pro Tools, making a dramatic evolution in music. For the first time as COIL, he was in charge of the soundtrack for the movie "Hatsukoi" (starring: Aoi Miyazaki). The theme song is "Aoi no Requiem" composed by Okamoto's definition song written by Moto Chitose.

Complete production of the single "DANCE BABY DANCE/Summer is from now!" released on July 7th, a special unit "Fukumi" by an artist belonging to Office Augusta.
On the same day as Fukumimi's single, she released a mini album "Garson" that self-covers the songs that have been provided to female vocalists.
On October 10, Fukumi's members released the COIL tribute album "22th Anniversary Songs-Tribute to COIL-", and also released the original album "Vitamin C" for the first time in 10 years. Performed a one-man live commemorating the 3th anniversary of debut in Tokyo and Osaka.
2009
Yosuke Sato announced the suspension of the live activity, and Okamoto definition developed the live activity. Under solo name Okamoto definition, one-man live will be held in BYG in Shibuya, Tokyo in March, May, September and December, and all performances will be sold out. Performed at Augusta Camp 3 ~Extra~ Tokyo performance under the name of COIL. At the "Shikochu Dream Live" held in Shikokuchuo City, Masayoshi Yamazaki and the unit "Masayoshi Sada" were unveiled.
Yosuke Sato was the engineer for recording and mixing of the 4 performances of Augusta Camp 2009 ~Extra~, and also participated as a recording engineer for Tomoyuki Nagasawa and Kyoko.
2010
Okamoto defines "soft cycle" (JFL eco-message song/Augusta Camp 2010 official theme song), which is the first sound source of 2010 in original Chitose under the name of Masayoshi Yamazaki, a unit with Masayoshi Yamazaki. Produced.
Also provided lyrics/songs for Leyona, Kyoko and others. The second solo album "Fantasista" will be released on July 2.

Recording work resumed as COIL. On April 4, Okamoto definition will perform live under the name of COIL, and at the same time release a new collection of works "Sonatine".
Continuing, in July, "Bossa Nova" and in December, "Cafe Latte" was released, and again a collection of works including all new songs.
In December, Okamoto definition performed four national tours of COIL TOUR 12 “Alone Season” under the name of COIL.
Yosuke Sato is in charge of producing the sound source for COIL, as well as live recording for Tomoyuki Nagasawa and Augusta Camp 2011.
Throughout the year, Okamoto definition has been active energetically, including participating in a solo live performance and a joint rehearsal tour “Our Our Journey” with Tomohiro Kondo and Shuntaro Takahata.
2012
On April 4, released a two-disc album "Cassette Music", which is a complete recording of 11 illusory cassette tape sound source works released from 2004 to 2005 as the original master. To commemorate the release of the album, Yosuke Sato, who has been suspended for live performance due to medical treatment, also appeared and broadcast a special program on Ustream.
Also, on October 10th, the singles best "Masterpiece ~COIL masterpiece collection~" and on November 24st the two-piece best "Second best~COIL honorable work collection~" by Okamoto and Sato. Is released for 11 consecutive months.
A LIVE & talk event will be held to commemorate the release of "Masterpiece ~ COIL Masterpiece Collection ~" on Ustreman on the release date and Nico Nico Live on the release date of "Second Best", and the program will be broadcast once a month thereafter.

Since January, the monthly regular program "COIL's Tale! Panpot Sensei (tentative)" is being broadcast on Nico Nico Live Broadcasting.
The new full album "15" will be released on October 15th with 15 songs suitable for the 10th anniversary of debut.
