あらきゆうこ（MI-GU）
CORNELIUS、salyu、くるり、ポラリス、チボマット、杏子、COIL、秦 基博、竹原ピストル、布袋寅泰、オノヨーコ
等を始めとした多数のアーティスト達のレコーディングセッションやライブに参加しているドラマー、あらきゆうこ。
そして、彼女のその音楽的感性をよりパーソナルに、より深く追求しているのが、ソロプロジェクト“MI-GU”。2003年4月16日に1st album「migu」を、2006年9月6日には2nd album「From
space」をリリース。
2009年には3rd album「pulling from
above」を坂本龍一氏がレーベルマスターのcommmonsより5月6日にリリース。2011年にはテキサスでのSXSW（サウス・バイ・サウスウエスト）で3日間連続でライブパフォーマンスをし、話題となる。2012年は、くるりのサポートメンバーとして、アルバム制作、ツアーに参加。
海外アーティストとのコラボレーションも多数。Mike Wattとのバンド“brother's sister's daughter”や本田ゆか、Petra Hadenのバンド“If By
Yes”のメンバーでもある。“If By Yes”はショーン・レノンがスタートさせたレーベルChimera Musicより、Debut Album「SALT ON SEA
GLASS」を2011年3月2日に日本先行発売。“brother's sister's daughter”のデビューアルバム「BSD」は2014年10月15日にRALLEY Labelよりリリースされた。
また、YOKO ONO PLASTIC ONO BANDにもドラマーとして参加し、2009年9月16日にChimera Musicよりリリースされた「BETWEEN MY HEAD AND THE
SKY」のレコーディングをはじめ、国内外のライブでもサポートをつとめる。
2012年10月2日には、 “Chimera Music”よりMI-GUのBest Album「Choose The Light」がアメリカ＆カナダでリリースされた。
2014年には地元・鳥取県境港市のフィッシュ大使に就任し、音楽を通し広く山陰地方をつなぐ活動にも尽力している。
The Highlights to Date

famous music festivals.
formed mi-gu in 2003, releasing the first album "migu" from a British label ( Ochre Records) ; three years
later, the second album "from space" was released; and in 2009, Ryuichi Sakamoto's label, Commmons showed
interest In the band and released the third album "pulling from above"; started drumming for Plastic Ono
Band in 2009, touring with the band to London, Los Angeles, Reykjavik, New York and Tokyo, and performing on
stage with Lady Gaga and Iggy in LA; have recently formed a unit called IF BY YES, which comprises 4
members(Petra Haden, Yuka Honda, shimmy and Yuko), and which will release its first album from Sean Lennon's
record label Chimera Music later this year.
